Case Study: Warren Racing
By Amy Wiles on November 03, 2017
Having worked as a digital partner with Team BRIT within the previous year, we are pleased to have recently finished the brand new website design for Team BRIT member Warren McKinlay. After Warren was involved in a serious car accident back in 2005, he was left with a broken back, pelvis and a traumatic brain injury. Having previously joined the British Army in 1999 as a Recovery Mechanic and engaging in a real passion for racing, it was a scary time for Warren and the uncertainty of if he would ever be able to work and race again became daunting.
When time began to heal the injuries as well as the help and support from family and friends, Warren was given the opportunity by KartForce, a charity for injured troops to take part again in endurance racing followed by an offer from Team BRIT to join their team. Team BRIT offers ex and serving military troops with disabilities and serious injuries the chance to join a competitive racing team within the motorsport industry to compete with others who are able-bodied.
With racing as Warren's 'idea of heaven' and a passion that allows him to be exactly who he wants to be means a great deal to us here at Digital Reflow and it's been a pleasure to help Warren get his website set up so that he can start sharing his experiences as a member of Team BRIT as well as his remarkable story.
