When a business announces a rebrand, the design world sits eagerly awaiting the reveal. Why? Because a rebrand isn’t just a shiny new logo, it involves a complete overhaul of their identity and public perception.

Coca-Cola launched its £10m advertising campaign to revamp Diet Coke in the UK. They are hoping to push more consumers towards their healthier options. Aedamar Howlett, Marketing Director for Coca-Cola GB and Ireland, says: “One of the key things for us is to invest heavily into driving the growth of all our zero sugar and light drinks and across our portfolio.” The brand is hoping that the Diet Coke reboot will work alongside Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and improve the growth of its light drinks —ahead of the sugar tax on 1 April.
Google Fit changed its design to stay more in-keeping with their overall branding. We all agree here in the office it is ten times better than before.
The rebrands of John Lewis and Waitrose came to our attention as they have added the ‘& Partners’ to our best loved brands. The two have operated as separate businesses with very little link-up, which slowly started to change when it became possible to pick up John Lewis click-and-collect items at Waitrose.
Without it being too much of a noticeable difference, the public seems to like the new look of Uber rebrand.

Carlsberg had their rebrand earlier this year and its probably the most subtle rebrand EVER! The new logo maintains everything about the original but gives it a much-needed trim.
Weight Watchers has unveiled a slimmed-down version of its name, rebranding itself WW, in what it says marks "the next stage of the company's evolution".
