Yesterday Twitter made an exciting announcement for all brands or businesses on Twitter.
In case you've missed it, they've announced a customer-service tailored direct messaging service. With the tagline 'Help without the annoying hold music' - Twitter are tapping into brands who already successfully use their Twitter accounts for customer service enquiries, as well as numerous users who often take to Twitter to vent their frustrations with a service they've received.
The quick reply system they've created allows brands to offer a selection of automated messages which customers can select from to receive a solution to their issue quickly.
Pizza Hut, Tesco, Airbnb, Spotify and TFL are some of the initial brands to trial this new feature. We're sure plenty of brands will follow suit in the coming weeks!
